LGD-4033 (also called Ligandrol) is a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) that has been studied for its ability to potentially help increase lean muscle mass and improve bone strength without many of the broader side effects associated with traditional anabolic steroids.
 
Some clinical trials have shown that LGD-4033 may help preserve or increase muscle in people dealing with muscle-wasting conditions (such as after hip fracture), while preclinical studies suggest it also may help improve bone mineral density and bone strength.
